All horses that presented at the final horse inspection will move on to the show jumping, which begins with the CCI2* at 10 a.m. EST. Charles Plumb withdrew Ard Denzil from the CCI2* after cross country, so 45 horses trotted up this morning in that division. Ryan Wood’s mount Frankie and Hallie Coon’s mount Namaste were both held but passed upon reinspection. In the CCI3*, Susan Beebee withdrew Wolf after cross country, leaving 26 to present for the ground jury. Werner Geven’s mount Vias County was sent to the holding box but passed upon reinspection.

It’s another beautiful day here, and I’m not sure how long it’s been since we’ve made it through a Fair Hill weekend without one drop of rain falling during the day.
