FEI Confirms Acceptance of 2018 WEG Host City Applicants

The FEI confirmed has confirmed via press release that all applicants under consideration to host the 2018 World Equestrian Games have been accepted. The next step in the decision-making process is a site visit by the FEI Evaluation Commission followed by a presentation from each host city candidate.

From the FEI:

“The FEI has also confirmed today that all three applicants — Wellington (USA), Lexington (USA), and Bromont/Montreal (CAN) — have been accepted as Official Candidates in the bid process to host the FEI World Equestrian Games 2018 following assessment of the Bid Questionnaires by the FEI Evaluation Commission. Site visits by the Evaluation Commission will precede presentations by the bidders to the Commission and to the FEI Bureau.”

Best of luck to Bromont, Lexington and Wellington as they continue on in the bid process.
