(1) Mara Dean and Nicki Henley added 8 penalties to their score in the Red Hills show jumping, but held onto their lead as Phillip Dutton and Tru Luck added 5 time penalties. There were only 2 double clear show jumping rides in the CIC3*-W (Mandiba and Ballynoecastle RM).
(2) Will Coleman and Nevada Bay moved from 8th after the dressage to finish the CIC3*-W in 3rd place, adding just 10.4 jumping penalties for the weekend, by far the lowest total for the CIC3*-W jumping.
(3) For the A-listers, Tru Luck obviously had a good weekend, finishing in 2nd, and Ballynoecastle RM had a solid performance after taking it easy around the XC.
(4) For the B-listed horses, Arthur and Mandiba both finished in the top 6, and Kheops Du Quesnay had a stop on the XC and finished in 9th.
(5) Will Coleman also had a good weekend in the CIC*, winning on his dressage score with All The Buzz, and finishing two other horses in the top 5. This is an additional sign that Will is starting to develop a consistent stream of very nice horses, and lookout as they keep leveling up.
(6) Michael Pollard jumped a clean round with Jos Calfun and passed overnight leader Hannah Burnett in the CIC2*, as Hannah added 6 penalties in the show jumping. Michael also placed 3rd on Dazzling Decorum, who was placed 18th after the dressage but added just 3.2 time penalties on XC and jumped the only double clear in the CIC2* show jumping. Hannah has two wins and a 2nd in her last three 2*'s with Nike, so we look forward to watching them at the next level sometime soon.
(7) Tara Zeigler and Buckingham Place added 26 show jumping penalties to win the CIC3* on 158.0. From what I have heard from the show (and as The859 suggested in our comment section), the CIC3* division gets the one year Mercedes lease as a prize, instead of the CIC3*-W because HSBC has restrictions on what prizes can be awarded as part of the HSBC World Cup. But, as they say, there's no room for commentary on the scoreboard, a win is a win, and I'm very happy for Tara.

Have you heard anything about the car going to the 3* division instead of the World Cup? If so, thats pretty funny with only 2 people still in the 3*.
