21 horses out of 24 original cross country finishers will move onto the CCI4* show jumping at Pau today after successfully passing the second horse inspection this morning. Two horses were withdrawn: Lisa Sabbe’s GQ (Prince of Rides) as well as Regis Prud Hun’s Debiut.

Unfortunately, Joseph Murphy’s second placed ride, Electric Cruise, was spun at the jog this morning. This pair was the only one to make the time yesterday, and it will be a shame to not see them go for the win later this morning. Joseph’s other mount, Sportsfield Othello, will now move into third position and 16.2 penalties off from leaders Ingrid Klimke and Horseware Hale Bob.

Ingrid has a rail in hand going into the show jumping, followed by Andreas Dibowski who has two rails in hand to maintain position. It will certainly be an exciting finale to this year’s edition of Pau.

Show jumping will commence at 10 a.m. EST, and we’ll have live updates coming your way. You can also follow along on FEI TV or the free live stream, which can be found in the links below.
