It was a great weekend in France, as Ingrid Klimke finally got her first CCI4* win and the North American contingent put in solid efforts to finish well up the leaderboard in the top 10.
“I’m very proud,” Ingrid told FEI TV. “He was superb on cross country and in the stadium, although he was quite excited, he was still listening, and I really enjoyed it. I really tried to stay in my box and say ‘wish it, dream it, and now do it!'”
It was a great showing for the German team, with Ingrid and Andreas Dibowski taking the top two placings, further solidifying the country’s reputation as some of the best event riders in the world.
We’d once again like to thank all of those who helped Pau go off successfully, sending all horses and riders home safely, which is the biggest goal at the end of the day. Thanks to John Kyle for his great commentary throughout the weekend – we had a great time following along!
