Kim Severson is no stranger to the podium. With her beloved partner, Winsome Adante, she clinched the win at Rolex an astounding three times. In 2002, after winning her first Rolex CCI4* — second Rolex overall, as she won won the CCI3* in 1999 — Kim and Dan were part of the gold medal winning Team USA at the World Equestrian Games in Jerez, Spain, as well as the bronze medal Olympic team in Athens in 2004, where they also brought home individual silver.
This year will be Kim’s third appearance at the World Equestrian Games, and her partner, Fernhill Fearless, will be competing on the world stage again after last serving as one of Thailand’s Nina Ligon’s upper-level mounts.
