With the winter season quickly approaching, a new indoor eventing series is kicking off tonight in San Juan Capistrano, California. Designed for all levels from 12″-2′ all the way up to Advanced, the event promises to be a great time and an educational experience for all competitors.

James Atkinson and Copper Meadows Eventing have lent their services to the Pacific Indoor Eventing Series, with James designing the courses and Copper Meadows running the event.

All divisions offer a show jump course as well as a combination course that includes obstacles one might commonly find on a cross country course. The goals of this series are to bring education to both new and veteran eventers, as well as supplement the hunter/jumper competition offerings in the area. Click here to view the class list.

A silent auction and raffle will also be held in conjunction with a catered dinner, with prizes ranging from pilates sessions to premium tack. Prize money has also been generously donated by sponsors, and it’s shaped up to be quite a festive event overall.

Best of luck to all competitors, and don’t forget we want to see your photos and videos if you’re attending today! Send them to [email protected].
