One day, the chinchillas will invest in an amazing high speed video camera for me to take to events and create really awesome videos like this one, but until that day we must rely on the generosity of others, and their artistic visions. Today’s video produced by Ernest Woodward features a lot of footage from a recent event in California (can you guess where??), and it’s positively fascinating to see how horses run cross country in slow motion. I really like to see how they prepare their balance and their feet in the few strides right before take-off, and how precise their control of all their limbs through the air becomes at the upper levels. Or how about the pure power and coordination of a canter pirouette? Horses are amazing, that is all. Enjoy!
