The leaderboard for the CCI3* saw another shakeup today after show jumping completed, and it was Aoife Clark and Fenyas Elegance that ended up on top when all was said and done. Overnight leader Izzy Taylor and Orlando only had time in hand going in to attempt to clinch the win, but an unlucky rail dropped them down to second place. Nonetheless, Izzy is hot off a win at Tattersalls last weekend, so a second place finish the next weekend is nothing to sneeze at.

Aoife Clark was in 11th after dressage, but a quick cross country run and a double clear show jumping round today allowed her and Fenyas Elegance to bound up the leaderboard to take the win. Aoife is one of the anchors of the Team Ireland, placing 7th individually at the 2012 Olympic Games with Master Crusoe. Aoife now has an exciting horse in Fenyas Elegance, who also won the CCI3* at Blenheim in 2013. Aoife also completed the weekend in 12th place aboard Vaguely North, one of her three and four-star partners since 2010.

William Fox-Pitt and Freddie Mac also enjoyed a nice move up over the course of the weekend, moving from 15th after dressage to 7th after cross country and, finally, to third overall. Double clear rounds today were scattered about the field; about a third of the competitors were able to get around without fault.

Once again, thank you to PRO and Samantha Clark for allowing us to live vicariously through you this weekend. Our Bramham coverage definitely was able to keep up thanks to your help! Also, many thanks to Elite Eventing, who has put up a highlight video from the cross country yesterday:
