Forty-one horses will move on to show jumping at the Jersey Fresh International Three-Day Event following this morning’s final horse inspection.
All 17 horses that presented in the CCI2* were accepted. Twenty-four horses were accepted in the CCI3*, with Meadowbrook’s Scarlett and Magnificent Toy not accepted.
Three CCI3* horses were sent to the holding box: Justine Dutton’s mount Huck Finn, Andrea Baxter’s mount Indy 500, and Lauren Kieffer’s mount Meadowbrook’s Scarlett.

Huck Finn and Indy 500 were accepted upon re-presenting to the ground jury. Meadowbrook’s Scarlett, who finished second in the CCI3* at this event last year and sat in sixth place after delivering a clear round inside the time on cross country, was not accepted.
Adrian Jones’ mount Magnificent Toy unfortunately stumbled and grabbed his left front heel just before presenting to the ground jury. While the ground jury allowed her to briefly delay presenting the horse, they could not accept him due to the blood visible on his hoof.

It’s a somber day here at Jersey Fresh as we all mourn the terrible loss of Philippa Humphreys. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with her family and friends.
Competitors met last night and decided to continue on with the competition. A moment of silence and tribute for Philippa will be held in the main arena today at 10:30 a.m. EST.
CCI2* show jumping starts at 10:45 a.m. EST, with CCI3* show jumping starting at 1:30 p.m. EST.
