Oliver Townend had a forgettable 2013 plagued with injuries and less than stellar luck. Now, Ollie is ready to come out guns blazing to aim for a coveted top spot in the British Eventing rankings this year. He told the Yorkshire Post recently that his goal was to come back to Badminton this year aboard Armada, and he believes that his unlucky 2013 was actually a blessing in disguise.

“I’ve got the horse power, I’ve got the support and I just need to put the time and work in now and get the mileage that these horses need. Then, when they do get to the top, top level, they will be ready to be competitive.”
