This week, we welcome guest reviewer Olivia Coolidge, who recently had the opportunity to review Tredstep's new Donatello Junior Tall Boots. At 14 years old, Olivia has had trouble finding a boot that will fit her calves and still offer comfort and quality. Read on to find out more!

I recently got the Tredstep Donatello Junior tall boots, and I can only describe them in one word: amazing. When I first put them on, as with any boot, they were a little tight around the calf, but it loosened in under 30 minutes.

It only took me three rides to break them in, and I didn’t get any blisters. The first time I got on with the Donatello Junior boots on, they were a little bit stiff and difficult to keep my heel down, but the longer I rode, the easier it got.

I am able to ride three to four times each week, and each time the fit of these boots gets better and better. People generally describe things that fit well as something that “fits like a glove,” and in all honesty, I think they should change that to “fits like a Tredstep Donatello Junior Boot!”

The quality of the leather is unbelievable. It is so soft and doesn’t rub the underside of my knee while I’m walking around. It is hard to find really nice tall boots that will fit my tiny calf, but I finally did. Props to Tredstep because I am an extremely picky person when it comes to how shoes and clothes fit me.

Another observation I have made about the leather and how it has broken in is that it hasn’t cracked at all.  One of my favorite things about the Donatello Juniors is how easy it is to clean and polish them. All you have to do is grab a dry cloth and put your cleaner or conditioner on and rub it into the leather. It takes me about 35 minutes maximum to thoroughly clean and condition these boots, and the end result is amazing.

In addition, sometimes the “it” product that attracts most riders does not have a very pleasant wear when it comes to comfort and durability. With Tredstep products, it is obvious that you don’t have to sacrifice comfort for a brand name. I’m in love with Tredstep!

The Tredstep Donatello Juniors retail for $229.95. You can find out more information and find a retailer to purchase from here.
