Jose Ortelli, Eventing’s very own Enrique Iglesias. I was lucky enough to meet Jose when he was based around the corner here in Lexington, preparing for the WEG last year, and I interviewed him when I was moonlighting for Monty White. Sadly he’s spent much less time in the States this year, but he just finished 14th at the Pan Am Games nonetheless, and it’s always a pleasure to bump into him. Meanwhile the JOSA horses I think, are popular over here and doing well. Many Happy Returns, Jose, hope to see you again sooner rather than later!
