Saturday Links from Tipperary

Just another day at the office for Alliston Equestrian!

When it’s 92 degrees in the Sacramento Valley, what do eventers do? Head for The Spring Event at Woodside and the Preliminary Challenge! This year is shaping up to be a banner year for the event. Your overnight leaders in the Challenge Divisions are Ruth Bley aboard her own Rodrigue Du Granit in the Rider division with a 30.4 and Kimberly Steinbuch and En Vogue in the Horse division with a 28.6.

Both Ruth and Kimberly will have to bring their A-game tomorrow. Ruth is currently less than a point in front of Lauren Henry and CTR Stoney Creek and Delaney Vaden and RedRox Jazzman, who are tied for second on a dressage score of 31.3. In the Horse division, Kimberly will have to be especially accurate on the cross country course as she cannot afford a single penalty point. She maintains her lead over James Alliston by a mere tenth of a point. Yow! A very exciting weekend indeed.
