Our friends at Ride On Video have released all the cross country rides from Copper Meadows last weekend, and not a moment too soon! We’re not only eager to see a handful of the winning rides from the big divisions, but it’s also a good glimpse at the new course that Copper Meadows has put into place, making it one of the premiere events in the region.
Heather Morris won the very competitive CIC3* Division on a final score of 49.9 with her mount, Charlie Tango. It’s an incredibly meaningful win for Heather to have Charlie back in top form after he contracted botulism at the end of last year, but it seems he fought back with a vengeance and is in better form than ever.
Mia Farley and Fernhill Fine Diamond wrapped up the open intermediate with a final score of 44.4 after this double clear round on cross country:
Hawley Bennett-Awad took the win on her brand new upper level mare JollyBo in the preliminary division, and they already look very comfortable together. We can’t wait to see where this pair is headed in the future!
