In the horse world, work schedules and days off aren’t dictated by normal weekends and holiday calendars. The same goes for freelance journalists. I often forget about upcoming holidays until I see a relevant social media post reminding me about, for instance, St. Patrick’s Day. So here’s a selection of Irish horses and ponies for sale that I might have featured in last week’s Sport Horse Nation Spotlight had I remembered the occasion in time.

Connemara gelding with loads of talent
Ash is a seven year old registered Connemara gelding. 14.2 hands. Solid mind and 100% sound. Successful eventers on both sides. Kind personality and has changes down solid.
Confirmed first level dressage and schooling some second level movements. Has spent the last year training as a hunter with a 10 year old and has been taking care of her. Quiet enough for an experienced kid but fun enough for a small adult. Would be a great move up pony that you could have fun on for years to come.
Goes on trails, through water, fine alone or with company, trailers quiet. Has been cross country schooling and shows great talent for it. Could easily go training if not more. Super jump! Same off property and at shows as he is at home. Could excel in hunters, jumpers, dressage or eventing. An all around great pony. Family is heart broken to part with him but moving out of the country. Located in California.
