HHF’s Gryffindor’s Lion, Talented Draft Cross

Description: Griffy is a 15.2 hand Percheron/Quarter Horse gelding foaled in 2007. He is an absolute teddy bear who loves to be the center of attention. He has great feet and straight, clean legs with lots of bone and no history of unsoundness. Griffy has jumped ditches, banks and water with absolute confidence. He has also been to a local jumper show where he happily jumped around small courses. He is a naturally talented jumper who is very aware of where his feet are. He was trail ridden with his previous owner and isn't phased by traffic, loves water, and is very curious about anything new. We can't wait to event him in the spring. We also think he would love to foxhunt. Griffy is good moving, forward, light in the bridle, and sensitive on the flat. Because he is so forward and green he would be more suitable with a rider with some experience (he's not a pokey, school pony draft).

Description: Star Chamber is a coming 6 year old OTTB. He is grey gelding and about 16.3 hands.  He has competed in one recognized BN HT and will move up to novice this year.  He recently competed at a dressage show receiving a 65% in all 3 classes that he did, winning them all.  He also competed at a hunter show, winning reserved champion.  He is very brave and extremely willing.  Also, VERY level-minded!  He never spooks or looks at anything.  He is so much fun because he learns so quickly and is willing to do whatever is asked of him.  He would make someone a great event horse!

Description: 16.3h Riverman son (foaled 3/17/97) with Intermediate experience. Elegant grey gelding out of a TB mare. Branded and registered Oldenburg. "T" does all 3 phases in a snaffle, is honest and athletic cross-country, and jumps stadium like a hunter or equitation horse with impeccable form. He has never had any soundness issues. He is well behaved at home or away and easy to be around and handle - just a big teddy bear. T and his rider Alex were 2009 Area 8 Master Amateur Preliminary Champions, and were ranked 5th Master Amateur Preliminary nationally that year. They were the highest placed amateurs at the Virginia CCI1* in 2011. Work constraints don't allow his rider to prepare for intermediate properly. T is an awesome horse. Video available.
