Description: History: Claymiester, barn named Chehon (key-on), came to me from his owner/breeder. He was named Claymiester after his son, Clay, because the colt was his favorite. He was raced 11 times and was retired sound because he was slow. He is shod in front and barefooted behind. He is 4 yrs old and 16.1 hands.
In the barn: Chehon is very easy to handle. He ties, loves to be groomed and stands quietly to have his mane pulled. He has no vices. He eats well and is slowly gaining weight.
In the pasture: Chehon is not dominant. He is turned out with two other OTTB geldings and transitioned to 24/7 turnout with ease.
Under saddle: Chehon has a very steady rhythm under saddle. He picks up both leads with out a problem. He has just started jumping and is quick to process the necessary footwork and is very careful. He has a big, panther-like walk with significant overstep. There is a lot of hock action in his trot and he has a very balanced canter. After working, he is happy to stand quietly and cock a hind leg to rest. He would be suitable for a young or amateur rider in a program.

Description: Redford aka "Sammy" is a 2001 Oldenburg cross chestnut gelding standing at 16.3 hands. He is a gorgeous mover with big floaty gaits and almost always scores in the low 30's. He has competed successfully at the Novice and Training level throughout Area VI. Not an upper level prospect, but perfect for a competitive amateur rider at the novice level. Enzo is very sweet and outgoing, the first friendly face to meet you in the pasture. As you will see in his videos, Enzo is an uphill mover with plenty of scope over fences. He raced only once as a 3 year old then was turned out in a pasture to fend for himself until coming to Hillside Haven Farm. Due to neglect by his previous owner he came to us very underweight with old, cosmetic scarring on his hind legs (probably from getting caught in bad fencing), and feet with quarter cracks that need to grow out. None of these issues effects his soundness. His legs are cold and tight with no large joints or signs of old bows. He has no vices and has easily gained weight back and is a stunningly handsome boy. Enzo is a true diamond in the rough and deserves to have a loving home where he can fulfill his upper level sport horse potential! Come meet him, I dare you NOT to fall in love

Description: Rivers Journey (RJ) is a flashy 2004, 16.3, bay gelding by the popular sporthorse stallion Riverman. RJ did not start in a consistent program until a little later in life, but has thrived since doing so last year. This year he started his eventing career at the two Maryland HT’s in July. He won his BN division on the first weekend with a 30, then moved up to Novice the following weekend and finished on a 33 dressage score. A careful jumper, RJ was double clear in show jumping and cross country both times out. He is a very sweet horse who always tries hard and wants to please. RJ has no vices and would make a wonderful junior or adult amateur partner for most any discipline.
