Description: Jack Be Quick is a 14 year old registered Paint gelding with no markings. He is about 16 hands and has had a great career teaching two children to event through training level. He would be perfect for and adult amateur or child to learn the ropes of eventing as he is very straightforward both over fences and on the flat. Always in the 20's and low 30's in the dressage and jumps around cross country and stadium enjoying his job. Has won the area IV novice and training championships with a child. He is very sound, safe, very quiet, no vices, loads, clips, baths. Located at the Gibbes Farm in St. Matthews, SC about an hour from Aiken.
Description: Wheelaboy is 2004 Grey 16.2 TB G. Just one terrific horse, he has evented, fox hunted, dressage, jumps,Paperchased, poker runs, hacks out alone or in large groups, totally unflappable ride, would Pony Club in a heart beat. He has very good stable manners, and is fabulous shipper. A very sound clean horse w/ good quality baseline x-rays when purchased. You won't find a horse with a better healthier quality foot than on this guy and he keeps his shoes on!! No a single vice unless you count taking halters off his turn-out companions.
Perfectly happy to follow with out pulling or rooting the rein but will also confidently go 1st. Will stand quietly for ever under tack even if the world goes to hell around him. Carriages, bicycles, motorcycles, tractors n hay wagons, loose horses, Fox Hounds all barely rate a head turn. Doesn't hold a grudge and forgiving nature. He is one size fits all from small kid to tall adult he isn't to wide and plenty of deep heart girth
He has 3 very lovely gaits, good quality easy to sit on jump and excellent obedient flat education. In the scope of things he is not all that "Special" he is not an Advanced prospect, maybe Prelim @ best. He isn't a "AA" H/J super star and in dressage maybe 3rd or low 4th level horse eventually. But his virtues of soundness, level headed, sane, super safe, easy, sanity are priceless. This is the horse you let ancient Aunt Edna ride when she comes for a yearly visit, or your Bosses horse crazy kid come take an up down lesson on, loan to your best friend to clinic on or borrow when her fox hunter is broken. Worst thing I can say about him is..he's grey.....He is for sale to pay college bills.
Description: Hi my name is Whiskey River (a.k.a River). I'm a 4 y.o., 16.2, AWB, G, TB X Clydesdale cross, born on the EquiSportUSA Farm April 2007. My mom and my Aunt are competitive Event Horses and I want to be one too! My grandparents were great race horses such as Native Dancer, Raise a Native, Seattle Slew and Turn To. My grand dad was a famous Breyer Shire. I can be registered with American Warmblood Society or Registry.
I learned how to lead, lounge, pull a cart, load and unload quietly, stand still for the Vet all before I was 3 years old. I like to take a snooze while being clipped and having my shoes put on. My trainer tells me I'm a Perfect Gentleman. I love trail rides, I get to gallop out with the other horses and learn about the world. I didn't like the water crossings at first, but now it is so much fun! I like to be first, but sometimes I follow the others when my trainer makes me.
This past summer, I got to compete in my first 3 Day Event at Golden Spike in UT. My trainer was very proud of me because I got 1st place. I think I looked pretty good and have a natural talent for Dressage. I can jump a 2' course and love jumping in my back yard where there are fun banks, ditches and logs to jump over!
I want to compete and my trainer says I'm finally ready to find my new partner. I think I'd look great with a taller man or woman as I'm a big boy. In addition to being a good eventer, I think I have the talent to be a really good Dressage horse.
I can't wait until 2012 when I get to compete at Beginner Novice level. I think I can do Novice, buy my trainer says I'm not ready yet.
