It’s a big week for USA Eventing, as we have one of the summer’s premier events taking place at Richland Park in Michigan, as well as a strong North American contingent ready to make us proud at Millstreet International in Ireland.
Millstreet hosted its first international horse trials in 2015. Mike Etherington-Smith built a spectacular CCI3* cross country course across 300 acres surrounding the ancient Drishane Castle, a 72-foot high fortified stone tower house built in the 15th-Century by Dermot McCarthy, the Lord of Munster.
This year we have Jennie Brannigan with Stella Artois and Sara Kozumplik Murphy and Rubens D’Ysieux competing in the CCI3*, as well as five combinations in the CIC3*: Kim Severson and Cooley Cross Border, Hannah Sue Burnett and Harbour Pilot, Hannah Sue Burnett and RF Demeter, Katherine Coleman and Back to Business II, and Kathryn Robinson and Let It Bee.
