It was an exciting finale at the 2018 Devon Horse Show and Country Fair’s $50,000 Devon Arena Eventing, which took place under the lights on Sunday. Defending champion Sarah Kozumplik Murphy and Rubens D’ysieux were the penultimate pair in the jump off and they threw down a fast and clear round to hang onto the lead. Last to enter the ring were Chris Talley and the Oldenburg stallion Sandro’s Star, owned by Hannah Salazaar. Chris masterfully his mount around the Captain Mark Phillips course to shave less than a second off the leading time and steal the win. Click here for EN’s recap of the class.

Chris and Hannah’s good friend Quinnten Alston was ring-side and captured the energy of moment they clinched the win.
