EN reader Beth Obermeyer sent in these adorable videos from her daughter’s first event in California this past weekend at Copper Meadows. Anneke Obermeyer just turned 14 and competed her Appendix gelding, Wodie, in the Junior Novice division at Copper Meadows, where they added just one rail to their dressage score to finish the weekend in ninth place.
Beth explained that most of their family and friends weren’t able to see events live, so the family works to make behind the scenes videos when Anneke is competing. The Obermeyer family is definitely an eventing family, traveling from Arizona to the events together and making it a team experience.
