Good Morning Eventing Nation! Today is cross country day at the Florida Horse Park [Live Scores, Weather] Jon Holling is currently in first and second in the OI on King’s Ransom and La Boheme Z. Buck is leading OP-A on No More Rocks, and Missy Ransehousen is leading OP-B with Ballyduff Ben. Kerry Sachs, who was featured earlier this week in the “ears/antlers” photo, is leading the JYOP. That’s EN Karma for you.
Now on to the real news:
According to the Jurga Report, Matthias Rath will be riding the great Totilas in a public exhibition for the first time on February 6. This is big news, and I’m sure Matthias will be feeling the pressure. As John has said before, with a horse as extraordinary as Totilas, anything less than an extraordinary performance will be disappointing for everyone involved. I’ve only watched a short clip of Matthias riding, but it’s evident he’s an excellent rider, I bet he’ll do Totilas justice.
