A View From My Horse: Mom and Daughter

This week’s “ears” photo is coming to us from Ginny Worley, of a ride with her mom all the way back in October. Eventing Moms are some of the best, and best trained– mine learned very early on not to drop the video camera and scream when I’d projectile launch off my pony at the first cross-country fence, or to never comment about the size of the fences on course until after the ride, and that any compliments directed towards my arch-enemy in the beginner novice rankings would almost always send me into a blind rage. Anyway, thanks to Ginny for sending us this photo, and thank you for reading.

From Ginny:

This is a picture of my Mom and her horse Ned, getting some stadium practice in before their show this weekend. They made the big move up to training this year, so I serve as jump crew and chief critic for the jumping they do in between lessons. Chief, my horse, watches intently with hopes of one day getting to jump bigger fences. Until then we watch and learn from my Mom and Ned.
