All of the horses in the Bromont CCI3* passed the jog, meaning that Clark Montgomery and Loughan Glen will go into the show jumping with their one rail lead. Daily Edition and Gryffindor were held, but passed upon reinspection.
Five horses were held in the CCI2*–Middleton, Vaunted, Harbour Pilot, Fernhill Cove, and Mystic My. Only Fernhill Cove did not pass on reinspection. In the CCI2*
In the CCI*, Doug Payne withdrew Camerlingo, which sadly ends that horse’s Pan Am hopes. D’Jion also withdrew before the jog.
The training level show jumping has already started and we’ll be along with reports from each division as they finish.
As a quick update on the team competition, the Show Me The Money team–Hannah, Clark, Karen, and Buck–has a 10 point lead. Also, we mentioned on Friday that there were US and Canadian teams here in a separate informal team competition. Team USA has a commanding 30 point lead although with 6 riders on each team anything can change in the show jumping. Team USA is comprised of Hannah Burnett, Jon Holling and Downtown Harrison, Phillip with Mighty Nice, Tamra Smith and Mar De Amor, Max McManamy and Beacon Hill, and Clark with Loughan Glen. Team Canada is William Dow and Middleton, Rebecca and Roquefort, Selena and A First Romance, Micheline Jordan and Irish Diamonds, Kendal Lehari and Daily Edition, and Diana Burnett with Shigatzi.
Good luck to all the riders go eventing.
