🇬🇧 We recently shared a press release from British Eventing about their upcoming new offering this year, XC+, which gives competitors at BE80 and BE90 level to partake in a shortened format event. XC+ has garnered much debated online about whether or not it has a space in our sport, and Horse & Hound dives into the details here.
❤️ ColdSpring Nurse Mares, a nonprofit organization that provides nurse mare services to orphaned foals around the country, announced this week a new effort to support US-based retired broodmares with a soft landing spot. Their ongoing goal is to offer a safe, loving, purposeful home for retired broodmares while striving to cause change within the nurse mare industry and shift to an ethical treatment of the mares that step in and save orphaned foals’ lives every year.
