Good Morning Eventing Nation, and welcome to the weekend! Now that it’s off-season for some and is very close to being for others, It’d be nice to think that the time our equine companions are spending on vacation would free up time for ourselves to take a bit of a break too, although it doesn’t always seem to happen that way. Just coming back from a vacation myself, I found it amazing upon my return the difference in my attitude and perspective of daily life. Time off can seem like a waste of time when we have so much else to do, but I think in many circumstances, taking a break can make the things we have to do upon our return seem so much easier and more manageable. So no matter how many laundry lists of tasks you hope to accomplish this weekend, don’t forget to take at least a few hours to do absolutely nothing!
