I don’t remember when I was able to sneak into the Kentucky Horse Park without being spotted by Course Builder Mick Costello; nothing goes down without him knowing about it.
His attention to detail is second to none, his vast knowledge of course, and of the course, and his incredible dedication is why the going is looking so good for Rolex already. In just a couple of weeks, although it almost seems like overnight, the grass is growing up green and springy underfoot, the galloping lanes are cushiony-soft and appear to be made of green velvet.
