The Maryland Corgi Cup presented by Major League Eventing is coming back and happening at this weekend’s Maryland Horse Trials & Area II Championships! In the absence of the Maryland 5 Star this year, the Corgi Cup needed a new, if temporary, host site. Loch Moy Farm (Adamstown, MD) stepped up as the host this weekend and the Corgi Cup and its guaranteed good time lives on.
This year’s running will take place on Saturday, October 3 at 12:00pm EST. The day will consist of five qualifying heats wth a final Championship race made up of the top two finishers from each qualifier. That means over 50 Corgis, which is a “hold my beer” situation if you ask us.
Saturday will also feature all three phases of eventing action, so you’re sure to find yourself a good time — the event remains free to attend for all!
