A Christmas to Remember for Margot Wolman

Margot's students and boarders surprised her with handmade jumps for Christmas.

We love hearing from our readers, especially when you tell us about a good deed or act of kindness that takes place in the eventing community. Margot Wolman, owner of Liberty View Farm in Carroll County, Md., sent us this email to share the very generous gift her students and boarders gave her for Christmas. Kudos to the Liberty View family for working very hard on such a lovely gift!

From Margot:

Everyone asks: “So what did you get for Christmas?”

I got the most beautiful jumps — HANDMADE by my boarders and students — again! Two years ago they did this and I sobbed like a baby. I was much more composed this year, but no less moved. Few barns have this awesome group about whom they can brag. It’s bittersweet for me this year, as I haven’t been able to ride because of an injury and my gorgeous eventer got hurt last April and is out of the game permanently. But these gorgeous jumps gave me that funny feeling in my gut to get back in the game again. I don’t want to be left out anymore!

 Aren’t they awesome!?
