Lee Ann Zobbe, who is a coach and excellent horse talent finder in Indiana, sent me this picture a few weeks ago. Lee Ann said that one of her students was riding her 20 year old been-there-done-that calm and quiet horse on a beautiful evening and jumped a tiny fence and came off. Her head only hit the ground–they don’t know if her horses’ foot hit her head. The rider suffered other injuries but her head was fine and she was alert right after the fall–no doubt only because she was smart and wore her helmet. Go helmets.
