This week’s “ears” photo is from O’Connor Event Team’s Lauren Kieffer, and pictures her horse Snooze Alarm and fellow OCET member Hannah Burnett’s horse St. Barths during a winter hack in Olcal, FL. Last spring both girls blogged for EN about how their competitions were playing out, and although they had a few disappointments along the way, both girls accomplished quite a lot. Lauren competed at Rolex for the first time on Snooze, the horse she’s had since she was 13, and Hannah had a great season on St. Barths that culminated with the pair winning the Fair Hill three-star this fall. “Hey Eventing Nation! Hannah and I were out hacking the other day and we decided to take a picture for y’all. The hairy horse with the long mane on the left is Snooze aka Maggot and Hannah’s horse Nike is on the right. And my dog Boozer is in front of us. Maggot and Nike are back from vacation and just hacking now and so Hannah and I have lots of time to chat and send in pictures to the greatest site in Eventing! See everyone next year!”
