Battle of the Sexes Airs Tonight on USEF Network

The five-time undefeated women’s team will try once again to defeat the men in the popular $55,000 Nespresso Battle of the Sexes show jumping competition, which will stream live tonight starting at 7 p.m. EST on the USEF Network from the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Fla. Georgina Bloomberg will captain the women’s team — which features upper-level eventer Marilyn Little — with Charlie Jayne leading the men’s team. The Battle of the Sexes consists of three different phases: a speed round, in which horse and rider must be the fastest without incurring penalties or rails; a match race, with the men and women competing side-by-side over identical courses; and a six-bar competition, with six fences in a row and each jump higher than the last. Spectators are encouraged to wear pink or blue to support their team. Proceeds from the event benefit Jump For Home Safe, a nonprofit organization that provides aid to victims of child abuse and domestic violence. This will be a really fun competition to watch live, so don’t forget to tune in tonight at 7 p.m. EST!
