BHT 2011 XC Preview: Sam Watson at the double of corners

I’m aiming to get a preview of most of the difficult combinations on the cross country from different riders and trainers by tomorrow night, and to start us off, who better than Badminton blogger Sam Watson. Sam finished 13th here last year, and is writing wonderful blogs, even though he wishes he was riding.

Excuse some wind noise and look out for a cameo by British Junior and Young RIder Temam Trainer Gill Watson in the cream sun hat.
As you can see, it’s disappointing that a lot of people, myself included, (but it was for eventingnation!) are not taking any notice of the signs and there were all sorts of people walking the course. I walked back later with William Fox-Pitt, video to come, and even he walked outside the strings.  Many many thanks to Sam for his great analysis of the fences, and we look forward to his next blog post, and seeing him back on Horseware Bushman soon.
Go cross-country and go eventing.
