Penny Rowland finished a nice test with Northwind’s Breeze to become the highest placed Canadian
There were a lot of quality rides Thursday afternoon in the CCI*, but no one could quite catch Will Coleman and Zipp. Will takes a 4.3 point lead into the cross-country. Doug Payne and Camerlingo moved into second on a 45.7 and Fiona Allen moved into 3rd with Isengart.
CCI* Final Dressage Scores:
1. Will Coleman and Zipp 41.4
2. Doug Payne and Camerlingo 45.7
3. Fiona Allen and Isengart 47.9
4. Penny Rowland and Northwind’s Breeze 50.9
5. Kyle Carter and Chesterland’s Knockout 51.2
6. Ryann Quigley and Ardfield Rover 51.5
–The USA reclaimed supremacy in the CCI* this afternoon and the red white and blue now has four pairs in the top six.
–I love watching eventing families competing together at the same event. Lee Lee Jones had a very professional test aboard the very nice Model Cadet with Phillip and the rest of her family looking on proudly. Lee Lee is tied for 10th and Phillip rode his three 2* horses into the top 10 today, making it a great day for the family.
We’ll have a CCI2* report shortly. Go eventing.
