It’s a somber day in Eventing Nation as we mourn the loss of Bruno Bouvier, a French event rider well known and loved in the international eventing community. He passed away after a rotational fall on cross country in the CIC2* at Barroca D’Alva in Portugal. A police inquiry into the accident has been launched, according to the FEI. EN extends its deepest condolences to Bruno’s family and friends.
On another note, Rowdie Adams fell from her horse Hector yesterday in the Intermediate Rider division at Rocking Horse. Thankfully, she didn’t suffer any major injuries, but will be grounded and stuck in a neck brace for “quite a while,” she said on her Facebook page. Get well soon, Rowdie!
