Carolina International: Day One Snapshots

In what will develop into a busy week at the Cloud 11~Gavilan North LLC Carolina International CIC, today felt fairly low key. It was only the first of three (yes, three) days of dressage, and while each of the CIC divisions got underway, the majority of horses and riders are still arriving and settling into the barns.

It was indeed a blustery day, with the wind whipping the flags around and sending us all to our vehicles for extra layers.

Wandering around the grounds during breaks, I inadvertently created a #DogsofEN collection, Carolina edition:

Here are a few extra snaps from the CIC2*…

And shoutout to these next two riders for their careful color coordination, with subtle pink and elegant blue points in their outfits to complement the ear bonnets. Nicely done!
