Colic Surgery for HJ Hampton

International advanced event horse H.J. Hampton developed an acute case of colic Saturday morning.  Peter Atkins told me that they rushed “Henny” to New England Equine Surgical and Medical Center, where surgery was performed.  Henny had an entrapment of his small colon.  He recovered well from anesthesia and he is currently doing very well.  Peter thanked Eventing Nation for our support and we will post updates as we get them.  EN wishes Henny a speedy recovery.
