It’s a quiet weekend in Eventing Nation after last weekend’s excitement with the American Eventing Championships. I’ll leave you with a poignant question Denny Emerson posted yesterday on his Facebook page. If you aren’t following him on Facebook, you should be. Denny said, “If there’s no open land where an event kid lives, no fox hunting, no point to points, no steeplechase any more in eventing, what are the chances the kid will grow up familiar with the sensation of being at ease on the back of a galloping horse?”
