Sinead’s Sunday Morning Links from Dubarry

Sinead Halpin certainly knows how to send a message. A double-clear cross-country round at Burghley, seven seconds inside the time — enough said. Meg Kep’s prayer vigil under the press table seems to have appeased the eventing gods. I wouldn’t be surprised if Meg has some company under the table at future events. With a rail in hand, Sinead will look to win her first 4* event this morning. Allison Springer and Arthur are also sitting inside the top 10 after an equally impressive cross-country round. We’ve seen a powerful indicator that U.S. eventing’s brightest days are ahead. Show jumping starts at 5 a.m. EST.
