Good morning from Fair Hill! We have beautiful sunny skies this morning for cross-country day. Hopefully the sunshine will dry up the ground enough to prevent any major slippery conditions. I’ll be updating this post throughout the day with updates from my phone. Then I’ll be checking in at lunchtime with a more detailed report. Sally Cousins and Ideal Contini withdrew before the start. Darrah Alexander and South Park will lead off in the CCI2* at 9:30 a.m. Kick on!

9:40: Jessica Phoenix and Erodium fell at the Springhouse Water Complex. Horse and rider are OK. Jan Byyny and Why Not pulled up after the Dansko Village and have retired on course.
9:50: Marilyn Little and RF Azarah are the first double clear of the morning. Jennie Brannigan and Indie followed as the second double clear.
10: Robin Walker and Freedoms Light just had a refusal at the Sunken Road. Caroline Martin and Petite Flower had a runout at the Dansko Village.
10:18: Hannah Sue Burnette and Danio are our third double clear.
10:25: Susan Beebee and Wolf jumped clear but came home with 9.6 time penalties. That drops them to 2nd.
10:55: Lara Borson-Knight and Shooby Doo retired on course after multiple refusals.
11:02: Buck Davidson and No More Rocks picked up a stop at the Haunted House.
11:13: Ashley MacVaugh and Fernhill Can Do retired at fence 7.
11:31: Boyd Martin and Crackerjack jumped clear but picked up 1.6 time. Jennie Brannigan and Indie are still holding the lead.
11:38: Mary Macklin and Mahogany Beauteo had a runout at 11.
12:05: Connor Husain and Piece of Hope are on course now. If they go double clear they will tie Jennie for first.
12:19: Connor picked up .8 time to move into 2nd.
12:21: Doug and Crown Talisman are on course now. A clear round here moves them into first.
12: 30 Doug picks up 7.2 time to move into 5th. Stay tuned for a full lunchtime report of the CCI2*.
