One Big Thing: Rehy DJ Stepping Down
Yasmin Ingham recently announced that her iconic 5* partner Rehy DJ, commonly known as Piglet, will be starting a new partnership with current FEI Eventing Young Riders World #1 Elizabeth Barratt. This may not arguably be a “stepping down” for Piglet, as Elizabeth has been seeing marked success of late all the way up to the 4*-S level, but we will still certainly miss his time with Yas on the global stage.
As one user mentioned in the comments of her announcement, it’s not often that we see a rider get the opportunity to take the same horse from Young Rider European Championships to the Senior Rider European Championships — a testament to the care and talent involved in Yas and her program. We are wishing Piglet and Elizabeth the best of luck on their new adventure together!
Piglet’s Career Highlights Thus Far:
- 3rd at Luhmühlen 5* in both 2023 and 2024
- Top 5 at the 2018 Young Rider European Championships at Fontainebleau
- Competed in the Senior European Championships at Blenheim
- Top 5 at Boekelo 4*-NC-L and the Burgham, Bramham, Little Downham, and Bicton 4*-S
- Top 10 at the 8- & 9-year-old 4*-S at Blenheim in 2019
- Top 10 at Pau 5*
- Top 12 at Aachen 4*-S
- 4 Nations Cup team competitions
- 6 overall 5* starts and dozens of 4* starts
