We’d like to extend a big ‘get well soon’ to one of eventing’s biggest personalities. Ralph Hill has reportedly suffered a fracture to his C1 and C2 vertebrae. The great Denny Emerson, who injured his neck in a cross-country fall earlier this year, made the announcement on his Facebook page with the good news that Ralph is apparently not paralyzed:

I’ll never forget watching Ralph literally sing his way around Rolex on the incredible Bad Boy Billy when I was younger. Ralph suffered a fall and a severe brain stem injury in 2007, but he has recovered to be a regular feature on the US eventing clinic circuit. Ralph is one of the toughest eventers I have every seen Eventing Nation wishes Ralph a speedy recovery.
