*Ronan Maloney, a novice rider at Millbrook horse trials, had an unfortunate fall last weekend, but there is a silver lining to every cloud and I believe Ronan gets the distinction of being having the first ever helmet cam fall video to be posted on EN. Fortunately both horse and rider were fine. Thanks for sending us the video Brian Wilcox, and it probably won’t make Ronan feel better but I did much the same thing at Millbrook last year. Update: As a couple of sage EN commenters have pointed out, Brian Wilcox rented the helmet cam to Ronan Maloney, who was wearing it when he fell from his horse Phoenix at Millbrook. Brian sent the video in and I had previously written that Brian was wearing the helmet cam.
