Denny Emerson posted this photo on the Tamarack Hill Farm Facebook page yesterday: “Christmas at my parent`s farm in South Reading, Vermont, 50 years ago, was more like a Bing Crosby Christmas, or a “traditional” Christmas than most Americans have known first hand. Sleighs with bells ACTUALLY drove by our house. It always was white. Plus, it being Vermont, cold. There was a fire in the fireplace. It all seemed normal back then.”
