It’s Cross-Country Day at Jersey Fresh

Welcome to a cloudy cross-country day at the New Jersey Horse Park, which I think actually helps because it takes away the shadows.  The rain is supposed to hold off throughout the day, but either way we are going to have a fun and exciting day of XC.  The footing was firm earlier this week but they have aggravated the track and it is much improved.  The course is beautiful and it’s the best I have ever seen here at Jersey;  hopefully it will ride that way.  With the divisions packed so tightly together, we’ll have to hurry during the breaks to get updates posted throughout the day. 

For some of the competitors, today is about getting that coveted clear ride to qualify for Bromont, for others it is to set up another event later this summer, for others it is about just getting a solid ride today, and for still others today is about winning that blue ribbon.
