Galway Downs (Temecula, CA) hosted this year’s Starter through Advanced Championships, and it was a great weekend that serves as one of those reminders of what the sport means to us. AEC will return to Kentucky Horse Park for a three-year cycle starting in 2026 (August 25-30). Two of the late Queen’s horses have been retired in a special ceremony that represented a full-circle moment. The two horses had previously been gifted to the Queen by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police over a decade ago and served in different roles during their service. They will now enjoy retirement at Horse Trust. You can read more about these horses’ careers here.
Elisa Wallace continues to be an ambassador for the Mustang breed, working not only to compete in events like the Mustang Classic but also to pair riders with Mustang partners for eventing — or whatever walk of life they choose.
