Hallie Coon piloted two horses, Lucky Fortuna and Kapriccio, in the top 20 in a huge division, finishing ninth with Lucky Fortuna very nearly on her dressage score. Ten champions were crowned this weekend at the Retired Racehorse Project Thoroughbred Makeover in Lexington, KY. This competition showcases the versatility of the Thoroughbred breed each year, bringing together hundreds of former racehorses who’ve entered into new careers. From dressage to liberty to eventing and everything in between, the Makeover offers opportunities for the ambassadors of this incredible breed to show off just how special the Thoroughbred horse is. The FEI World Rankings have been updated for October, and this month we welcome Austrian Olympian Lea Siegl into the top 10, moving up from 14th to 7th overall. Harry Meade (GBR) remains in the #1 spot once more, and Boyd Martin is the sole U.S. representative in the top 10, moving down to #5 from #4. You can view the full updated rankings here.
