I’m not sure that there is a way to introduce this video other than to say US eventing legend Denny Emerson is nothing short of amazing. Denny mentioned on his Facebook page that this is in his 50th season of eventing and he kicked it off this weekend with a prelim ride at Hitching Post in Vermont, which he finished with a clean XC ride.
I also want to give a shout out to Denny’s new book, How Good Riders Get Good, which was released at Rolex. Denny was kind enough to send me a copy and it’s sitting on my nightstand. The book looks at good riding from a variety of disciplines and I’m very excited to give it a read. If it gives me 1% of Denny’s magic, it will be well worth the read. Check the book out at [Amazon].
