Omega Alpha Blogger Challenge: Manhattan Thriving on Sinew-X

We recently selected a few bloggers to try out a 30 day supply of Omega Alpha’s popular joint supplement, Sinew-X. These bloggers have received their supply and will be starting their horses on a 30 day regimen, all while blogging about their observations and results! We can’t wait to see how their horses take to the supplement, and we hope you enjoy following along! You can read Manhattan’s introduction here.

Greetings EN!

Since most of the country is also battling frigid temperatures, I figured I would take this time to check in and catch up on my blogging. Ollie is about half way through with his Omega Alpha Sinew-X trial. We began with a loading dose of 30cc twice a day for a week. After that, I cut him back to 30cc once a day. This was based off of the recommended amount on the bottle.

I couldn’t have picked a better time to start incorporating a joint supplement into Ollie’s regimen. Winter can make joints achy, but cold and damp weather is especially painful with arthritis. Ollie has been much more comfortable lately thanks to Sinew X. In fact, he feels better than he ever has under saddle.

At 16 years young, he is happily trotting around the pasture — something he never used to do. And based on the shavings and leaves in his tail, he’s also been able to lay down and catch some zzz’s. Competing again is starting to seem like a real possibility!

Besides it’s effectiveness, Sinew-X also tastes great. At first, Ollie was hesitant when he saw me coming toward him with a syringe but now he can’t wait for his supplement.

Today my curious (and slightly jealous) chestnut came over to see what he was missing out on. I held out the empty syringe, expecting him to sniff or lick it. Without any hesitation, Tony chomped down and broke the tip off!

Omega Alpha is officially our #1 choice for supplements!
